Question by bodhihoang: Whats the best 2 professions for a shaman in WOW World of warcraft?
I’ve already got a main with 2 gathering professions at lvl 40 I can already make 500g a day so I do need anymore money, This would be a pure pvp build. Im thinking engineering as 1 of em.

herb and alchamy herb makes cash and helps with alchamy and shammys usually need potions / buffs
If you are going straight up for pvp you have three main choices and they are engineering, jewelcrafting, and enchanting.
Engineering is one because it gives you a bunch of good gadgets as well as a epic headpiece that you can start wearing at lvl 62 and is on par with tier 5 gear. The goggles also allow you stealth detection and mote detection.
Jewelcrafting is one because it offers you rare gems like 24 ap and 18 stamina and there are some epic trinkets that go along with this as well.
Enchanting is one because enchanters get to enchant both of their rings and it is nice to be able to not wait for enchants because some enchanters are stingy and fickle.
In the end I would say engineering and jewelcrafting are your best bets. Good luck and happy hunting.
Since you have already knocked out the mats part of this the only think I would go with either jc or alch. Now this will all depend on what spec your going too. Alch has prolly is ideal for a shaman since you can make lvl 70 trinkets that help melee, spell dps, and healing. Which is the same for your engineering profession. So I would go alch for a Shaman for sure.
This question drove me to write a artile about these 3 professions so you can check it out and feel free to leave comments about what you thought. http://wowadvanced.com/?p=53
