People these days are just throwing it around left and right to any willing participant. What happened to the days when sex was seen as the ultimate expression of love for another person? When did it just become another humdrum activity to pass the time with?
What are your thoughts on this?
Perhaps it was never seen as such in the West, I don’t know. But in the East, such writings as Kama Sutra, The Perfumed Garden and the Tao were all inspired by the idea that sex was a sacred act to be shared only between people who cared for each other. I should have been born Chinese, damnit.

Sex has always been “thrown” around since history has been recorded.It’s nothing new but now it’s out in the open.The word “porn” for instance was coined around a hundred years ago but it’s always been a part of all humans lives and accepted.People are people and they’re going to have sex whether for fun or procreation.

the days when sex was seen as the love expression to each other was I say, sometime in the 1950’s where girls wore poodle skirts and boys wore suspenders and the idea of a ‘hot date’ was drinking chocolate milkshakes before dinner

Since when has it been so sacred except in recent times where teens are looked down on for being pregnant? I don’t throw it left and right, and I have only had sex with one person, after a year and a half. I’m still with that person and it’s been almost three and a half years. And no, just as many people from the west think it’s sacred and people shouldn’t have sex until marriage as you have wherever you are from and from china.

i completly agree with you…noone wants to wait for the right person and is just willing to give it up to anyone just to “get it over it”…im not saying im not saint cause i didnt wait till marriage but i did wait for the right person and i gave it to him and were very happy together and were engaged…its sad cause people just walk around givin it to people and theres no love behide it…
It never was sacred. It’s a reproductive animal urge, nothing more, nothing less.
If you think people somehow stayed pure and virginal back in the day, think again. Prostitution is the oldest profession and men used to have multiple wives, in addition to their concubines, girls would be married away at 11 years old etc.
China is no different, the country is absolutely filled with brothels (I know from visiting), even though porn is illegal đŸ™‚
Anyway, there’s nothing wrong with safe consensual sex, so who cares?
