Answer by Thomas M
WHAT?
Shamanism is not an organised religion but rather a vast range of disparate, mostly animistic spiritual beliefs spread across the entire globe and throughout all native cultures! There is, and indeed never could, by definition, be a founder!

I don’t believe there was a “founder.” Shamanism originated among the indigenous peoples of Siberia, and the term has been hijacked by various goobs who want to make themselves sound mystical and powerful.
LOL Since Shamanism has been around well before our written word, that would be tough to determine. That is like asking who originally came up with the logistics behind Witchcraft. It’s simply been around too long.
Note: When I say “Witchcraft” I am not speaking of Wicca, which can be attributed to Buckland (USA) or Gardner (UK) — or Aleister Crowley, if you believe the rumor that he actually wrote Gardner’s BoS.
There is no founder.
It has existed for far longer than writing has.
Therefore no history can be given for it.
I doubt there was one single caveman who invented shamanism.
Enoch chapter 7.
There isn’t one, Shamanism is an umbrella term for a lot of similar but unrelated belief systems. Such systems are found world wide throughout history, so there’s no one person who can be called it’s founder unless it’s whichever researcher first used it in a paper and thus brought it, in it’s current definition, into popular use.
