Others being: Homosexuals, people of other beliefs and Atheists, etc.
Now I wouldn’t say that all pagans are more accepting than say all Christians, because that is a false statement and we all know it.
BUT, as a whole, I would have to say that Pagans do tend to be more accepting.

Because pagans or people of the occult are more open minded, and are more spiritually open, and can understand things, part of it is becoming one with things and viewing things from all sides.

Because it is what they believe to accept others as they are and they don’t believe in converting anyone who believes anything different. On the flip side christians focus on converting and because of that come off as non accepting of others in the name of the bible/God.
Dogma. Christians have a set of rules that tend to make the average person think, or “realize”, they are the “chosen” ones. This places them in a position of being above or better than others. Pagans tend to be just regular people that know we are all equal, they know that all pathways lead to the center. There is no reason not to accept others. We are all the same and are all on the same pathway as far as making it to the center.
i think it comes from believing that everyone has to find their own path, and knowing that it’s not the same for everyone.

Most Pagans do not subscribe to the “I’m right and everyone else is wrong” mentality, so they don’t feel the need to prove or defend anything to anyone.
Also, most Pagans do not believe in the idea of “sin,” therefore a behavior is usually tolerated as long as it isn’t hurting anyone.
Pagans have been so brutally oppressed and persecuted themselves for such a long time that they can easily understand the plight of other persecuted and oppressed peoples.
Such hardships tend to instill a deep and profound sense of humanity, humility, and compassion…
