Wicca Supplies: The What and the Where

In Wiccan practice quite a large variety of bits ‘n pieces are needed. When setting out on the Wiccan path, the list may seem quite daunting – and expensive. But the good news is that if your budget cannot stretch that far, much of what is needed can either be self-made or grown. Compiling a list of the bare necessities is probably a very good start. To make it easier, I divided the list into two parts. The first part is non-consumables and the second part is consumables:

The Basic List

Non-consumables

* Altar

* Candleholders

* Athame

* Wand

* Cup

* Incense holder

* Bowl

* Pentagram

* Altar Cloth

* Clear quartz crystal

Consumables

* White candles

* Lavender Incense

* Dried Lavender

* Sea Salt

As you progress along your path, you may feel the need to add to this list. The list can become very long and costly if you don’t keep an eye on yourself. It is probably a good idea to take a sanity check before adding to the list, by asking yourself “What do I need it for?” and if the answer is yes, “How often will I use it?”. To help you, I compiled a list of intermediate supplies. As is the case with the basic list, you can make a lot of it yourself if need be:
