Question by Lumenis: Wiccans/Pagans, what is some of your favorite music?
I was curious what some of your favorite Wiccan/Pagan music was, or something you would recommend to me. I really enjoy Wendy Rule and Faith and the Muse.
2012: The Wiccan/Pagan genre, of course 😛 No, I don’t care what kind of music it is, I was just looking for stuff with a Pagan theme to it.

Give your answer to this question below!
If I was a Wiccan, I’d totally dig Muse…Especially “Time is Running Out”. Damn, now I wish I was a Wiccan so that could be my life song >.<
I can’t think of anything very Pagan that I consider to be favourite… maybe Coven 13 or Inkubus Sukubus.. Emerald Rose. Dahm the Bard is very cool.
Other than that, I like folk, metal, alternative and classical. Tchaikovsky is one of my all time favourite composers and Metalica rocks. Look them up on youtube!
answer: for pagan music: Pasha and the Pagans and Incubus Succubus (sometimes spelled Inkubus Sukkubus)
non-pagan – hard rock, heavy metal, classical
Loreena McKennitt

That’s all I can think of right now.
EDIT:
Ooh, ooh!!! I forgot! ^_^

The lead singer, Sully Erna is Wiccan…. though it isn’t a Wiccan Band… then again Loreena McKennitt isn’t either…
I mostly hate that kind of music. I’m so opinionated about music it’s a subject I can barely even talk to other people about. I once kicked a person out of my home for expressing the opinion that Eddie Van Halen was the greatest guitarist ever. I still feel very justified for taking such action.
Anyway, I can tolerate Loreena McKennitt and Kate Price. I actually really like the Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly too – do they count? They aren’t anything like the ones you named and aren’t Pagan but I find many Pagans enjoy them.
I’m sorry the closest I get to “Wiccan Music” is the Waterboys…
I listen to everything except that neofolk renaissance faire crud. Sorry.
You know the blackboard in the movie “School of Rock”? My family said I could draw something like that in my sleep.
Lately I’m on a rhythm kick…Adam Ant. Post-Punk, Paul Simon, Angelique Kidjo.
The most “Pagan Music” I’ve ever heard was Evanescence (first album, because the second one sucked), and Disturbed – Believe.
Normal Music – I like Rap, Country, Hard Rock, Techno, Trance, House, Classical (a tiny bit)…that’s all I can think of right now.
What genre? I have a huge music likes list.
ADD: I love McKennet too (however it is spelled).
Labgrrl rocks! If only she was straight and single (but then she would not be her)! I am a huge Adam Ant fan. The Waterboys as well.
*sigh* and only if the Passenger was not happily married…
As far as spiritual music, I mostly listen to Keltic especially traditional, fusion, and story songs.

Led Zeppelin
Neil Diamond
Pink
Björk
Smooth Jazz
I don’t listen to anything that would be considered pagan/wiccan. I love Enigma, and I do listen to Enya, Gregorian Chanting, and I absolutely love the song Eden by Sarah Brightman.
Thats the music I listen to when I want to go to sleep. The music I listen to during the day has to be loud, lots of bass and lots of screaming.
My favourite music…
Kidney thieves and She-male trouble – both fronted by strong females.
London after midnight, HIM, The Cure, A-ha, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson…
Still love the QOTD soundtrack 🙂
