Question by Blossomo: Would you want to know who is in your fiance/fiancee’s sexual fantasies?
What if the Truth Fairy could, by magic, print out a comprehensive list of everyone about whom your fiance/fiancee has had a sexual fantasy.
It would include adolescent crushes, movie stars, musicians, and Playboy centerfolds.
But … it would also include not-so-innocent fantasies … maybe about a co-worker. Or porn stars. Or your minister. Or your sister (ew!). Or your mom (eeeew!) Maybe you would find out that your betrothed has fantasized about someone of the same sex …
Knowing that you would get ALL of this information, would you want to know?
Thanks for your thoughtful answers. What is even more interesting is the presumption that the question is being asked by someone paranoid or insecure. This questioner is neither: I would not want to know my husband’s private thoughts and fantasies. That’s his beeswax, not mine.

I wouldn’t really seek out this information but I wouldn’t really care if I did know. It’s a FANTASY not reality. People fantasize about things like that all the time, especially lots of men. There is no sense in being insecure about what happened in someone’s mind. I’d rather spend my time focusing on things that are ACTUALLY happening.

nope, knowing these things would do nothing but cause problems. Relationships are hard enough, knowing this info would only make it harder.
