WoW Shaman Guide – Abridged Version
You might need a WoW shaman guide if you are a beginner in Wow or new to World of Warcraft in general.
To begin with only the Horde could play shamans, but with the introduction of the Burning Crusade alliance also can play them.
A quick WoW shaman guide
Shamans are a hybrid class.
Hence the talent tree specialization a player chooses determines where the character’s strengths lie.
Shamans can be healers and causers of damage. The majority of the shamans strength comes from using totems.
Shamans are able to place 4 totems at a time, but they stay fixed in the spot where they are placed.
Alone or in a group situation, enhancement shamans in particular can cause maximum damage with their skill to dual wield weaponry.
Using WoW shaman talents
Like all the other classes shamans have access to three talent trees, these are restoration, elemental and enhancement. While initially you will want to have a main focus, thanks to the choice of dual specialization you can choose two main talent trees and switch forwards and backwards as your situation calls for it.

Elemental
This particular balance tree permits the shaman to be a ranged caster, just like the druid’s balance tree. Be prepared to have to halt for mana replenishment regularly until you reach a high enough level that your mana regeneration picks up momentum.
Enhancement
If you’re going it alone this talent tree will help you in creating maximum amounts of damage. Together with windfury weapon
