Question by darrius.zoofie: World of warcraft – Are shamans good killers?
Hey guys , i play a level 70 holy priest and just starting gruul’s lair.
For now , and especially when the expansion comes out , i want an alt that will be much faster to kill with and still be fun. I have a level 26 shaman atm that is enhancement. So sorry i’ll get straight to the point. Are enhancement shamans fast killers and grinders and fun to play?
Thanks very much

I have a 70 enhancement shaman as my main and they’re definitely damage machines. They’re pretty steady DPS but their burst damage is what’s really disgusting. All you need is one crit and things get nasty fast.
The downside to end-game shamans is their lack of outs and overall survivability. In PvP/Raid/Instance scenarios you need to play really carefully without a healer otherwise you’ll be dying a whole lot because you don’t have the benefit of substantial healing when speced enhancement nor do shamans have things like bubble, fear, vanish, and things of that nature to deal with things in a pinch. In PvE situations you have your stone golem but in the case of raiding that doesn’t really do a whole lot for you and the cool down is 30 minutes so you can’t really count on it.
yes in pvp enhancement shammys are good dps i play a lvl 70 mage and when i see one in the arena lol i get away from him as fast as i can. pve wise they are good dps also in instances you can heal if you have to and do damage so eveyone wants u in there group.
yes
