I know very little on either, but i can tell you that Hinduism probably has a broader belief spectrum. It’s over 5000 years old, shamanism may be dated prior to that. It can be polytheistic or monotheistic depending on the denomination. The shamanism religions i’ve been exposed to are primarily North American. The ceremonies are different with different intentions. The objective of Hindu religion seems to be to honor god(s) and the Shamans travel to the spirit world for the purpose of obtaining information or working magick. Shamanism also seems to involve a “spirit quest” and totem animals to help the traveller through this journey and others. Please keep in mind this answer is from an ignorant outsider.
