I think about it the same way as the guy with the yellow shirt says; why do we humans react so strongly to these kinds of materials? It’s truly fascinating. I’m very curious as to what the herb will tell me when I finally partake. I’m definitely not afraid of the mandatory purge (vomit), it’s just a way to? stay somewhat connected with this worldly self. I look forward to Ayahuasca, but I’m not quite ready yet.

Jeremy Narby, in “The Cosmic Serpent”, doesn’t speak of Ayahuasca as the ONLY means to altering consciousness in a way that we can perceive life all the way down to the level of our DNA. He also tells us that DRUMMING can do the same thing. I know it does, because I’ve exprienced it & not in some weird Psychodelic way and not in a way that ONLY took me as far down as our Nuclear DNA. I went past that to our MITOCHONDRIAL DNA; the REAL Source of LIFE/ENERGY in our Body. IMPROV drumming does it.
