I have about 2-3 lucid dreams a year sometimes more if im lucky, and I have a few questions for you. When I realize I am in a dream, how come sometimes I can control the dream and sometimes I can’t.
How come sometimes I can only control my character and sometimes I can control all my characters?
How come I can’t change the dream completly. If im breaking windows in a house and swearing, I have to work with what I got, I can’t switch it to like haveing a sexual dream. Sometimes I can make a female appear and have fun with her, but not always. If im robbing a bank, I can’t change to jumping of buildings?
How come I can’t always make things appear or use magic in my dream?
How come controlling my characters requires more work of my mind then saying things in my dream?
I can I have more lucid dreams?
Do the lucid dream pills really work, and are they safe?
When I am lucid it requires a lot of work not to wake up, sometimes I do though, any suggestions?

I’ve never heard of lucid dream pills. I wouldn’t recommend taking anything like that.
Even though you are dreaming, your subconcious is still in control and guiding you where it wants you to go. It’s like a toy car. It can go as far as the remote control range wil let it, but it stops once it gets out of range.

I have heard of the lucid dream pills and yes people say they work. You should get a book about this stuff. There are lots of books about it out there.
Why can you not always control your dream?
It depends on the level of lucidity you’re at as to how much control you have in the dream. Low level lucid dreams are basically dreams where you know you’re dreaming but do nothing about it up to high level lucid dreams that you can control most if not all of your dream. You should focus on something (most people use their hands or the floor) to increase your level of lucidity or dream spin. Dream spinning is turning around like you’re a top- maybe not so quick though. It helps when your dream is fading or when you’re waking up to answer your question as to how not to wake up. These will help your dream become more vivid as well as increase your lucidity.
Why can’t you change the dream completly?
I believe what you’re trying to do is make something appear, or happen, right in front of you. Instead, go around the corner of that building or go through the door over there and expect what you want to be there. It’s usually easier that way. Dream spinning can also be used to change your dream scene. No matter what you try, you’ll need to continously tell yourself that you’re dreaming. When your dream scene changes, it’s common to lose lucidity.
There’s been several times that I couldn’t do something, but I told myself that I knew I was dreaming and it usually worked.
Awarness and intent are very important.
How can you have more lucid dreams?
Well, reading on it has helped people lucid dream. It has definitly been one of the stepping stones for me. One of the most well-known techniques to having a lucid dream is to get up about two hours eariler than normal for approximatly 20 minutes. During this time, you can think of what you’ll want to do when you have a lucid dream or whatever-do try to relate whatever you think of to lucid dreaming. After your time is up, go back to bed. Continously tell yourself that you are dreaming as much as you can while you go to sleep so you don’t keep yourself awake. What this does is it puts you closer to the time of sleep where you’d be dreaming. It’s easier for me to remember more details about my dreams when I do this, too.

Read about the Wake Back to Bed (WBTB) and the Mneomonic Induction of Lucid Dreams (MILD) methods which are basically what I told you to try in the section above. Even though it may sound far-fetched, don’t skip over the Wake Induced Lucid Dream (WILD). I have had lucid dreams using these techniques. Mostly the first two; only once using WILD. You can try the Punishment Induced Lucid Dreaming and all the rest. I didn’t bother.
Lucid dream pills and are they safe?
I’ve heard about people having lucid dreams from medication they’re taking. I seriously doubt that the FDA approved any pill for lucid dreaming so what “lucid dreaming pill” you may find has a degree of risk involved. I suggest reading about lucid dreaming and just keep practicing. You don’t need any drugs or pills- this is given to you free of charge.
