Question by Lady Morgana: A TOAST FOR CHRISTIAN AND PAGAN APPRECIATION DAY! What will you say?
As many of you know, today is CHRISTIAN AND PAGAN APPRECIATIONS DAY! We are having a feast and are sharing good things about each other. If you haven’t already, you can JOIN THE FEAST ANYTIME, AND ALL ARE WELCOME, NOT JUST CHRISTIANS AND PAGANS!
Everyone, please bring:
-some food or drink
-share something good about another spiritual path
-share what is most helpful and good about your path
-share words from a poem, song, the Bible, your Book of Shadows, anything that is a beautiful expression of your path
AND NOW, TO THE TOAST!
please offer a toast to someone who has participated in our JOYOUS CELEBRATION OF SHARING!! TOAST A PERSON OF ANOTHER PATH, SOMEONE WHO HAS SHARED SOMETHING THAT YOU APPRECIATED!
I will start:
A TOAST TO FRUITFUL SEARCHER!
We are not of the same spiritual path, but we share the common bond of love for our families, our love for our world, and our hopes for a peaceful tomorrow. You’re a gift from your Lord, and a blessing to all! Here’s to you! )0(

A toast…
Here’s to the breezes that blow through the treeses.
Through the chemises past the kneeses
to that little thing that teases, pleases, and transmits diseases…
But jeezes it’s good!
mmm, beer!
Toast:
If we get drunk enough together, we won’t be able to see our differences. Or anything else, either!
Here’s to everyone… *raises stein of good German beer*
Our paths may be different – so what, we all have the same needs in life, we all bleed red…
Here’s to my fellow believers – even we don’t see eye to eye.
Merry Meet
Blessed Be
Salaam
Namaste
Howdy
God bless you all!
Four Limericks on Life
He goes by the surname of Fauna
From the Platypus to the Iguana
He hunts and he stalks
And he constantly talks
Of the death and the killing he wanna
She goes by the surname of Flora
She’s plankton, she’s trees, a plethora
But lives in a dread
Avoiding his tread
He’s Sodom, he’s death, he’s Gomorrah!
He eats, he digests, he excretes her
She’s worried each time that he meets her
It’s not so dismaying
To find him decaying
His syrup of nitrogen treats her!
Submerged in a hostile reality
Humanity flirts with finality
He yearns to transcend
But his carnal self wins
And he spends his whole life in banality.

I think I’ll just have a Coca-Cola, thanks. All of this “R&S drinking game” drinking has got me buzzed.
this is a quote that i have adopted as my own…
there is room in the universe for every way. you travel yours, and should you need it i will help you as i travel mine.
a toast to all others of of any path who are tolerant and respectful of others. *drink*
bright blessings to all
A toast to happy and healthy year for all of you and your families.
I appreciate that you spread love and understanding instead of the hate that does come with the differences in opinions on belief. God bless and Love ya!
*rushes in late and breathless, hands Lady M a plate of crescent cakes*
Sorry I couldn’t get here sooner–but here’s my contribution.
For the good in another path: atheism teaches the value of logic. Its members are fearless, knowing in their hearts that they must experience everything this life has to offer, because there is nothing beyond it. And they are some of the most moral people I know, for their concept of good and evil does not come from outside themselves, but simply from what they know to be right.
What I want to share from my path: Reciprocation. Live as the kind of person you’d like to have as a friend, because all of your efforts will be returned in kind. Create beauty, and you will see beauty; give love and you shall receive it.
This is from my first Book of Shadows:
“1. There is Strength in Solitude.
Being alone lends itself to purity of contemplation. Without others to rely on, one’s own inner reserves are
tapped.
2. There is Support in Companionship.
As marvelous as the inner joys can be, we must occasionally share joy in others as well. Too much solitude leads to rejection of life. Though the divine voice is often clearer when we are alone, it finds its full expression in the company of those with different hopes, dreams, and fears.”

And finally: A toast to Boar’s Heart!
What else can I say? We have a different approach to many issues, but at the bottom we both understand that “different” is not necessarily “dangerous.”
A second toast to Gnostic–her thoughts on the mystic have often provided a springboard for my own thoughts and imagination.
A toast!
A taste of Meade for those in need.
A drop of wine to those who pine.
A mug of ale for those who pale
And a glass fo beer to those who fear.
DRINK!
Raji the Green Witch
I’m fashionably late…of course, leave it to the atheist to be late to an event like this…but I come with more liquor to keep everyone in blissful drunken stupor.
Quite honestly, I don’t believe in nor like religion…but do think that spirituality unites us all, so I toast to all of you for being of open mind and soul to others, and to that “energy” which connects us all.
Drink up! 🙂
Go about your own path.
I will go about mine.
Should we meet and agree,
It will be beautiful.
If we do not, then it too,
Will be beautiful.
For your path has its own beauty
And wondrous sights as does mine.
The greatest beauty will be for us to
Share out experiences and be made
Richer by our differences.
Blessed Be!

I’ll drink to that, as well as this,
a toast to ANYONE who is willing to share their firm belief in their path, while respecting and having a genuine desire to learn that of another. For those who know how to teach and learn, to speak and listen and to approach life with an open mind and a willing heart. Here’s to anyone *at* this feast, and all those who will eventually find they may benefit from it!
May we all learn tolerance and acceptance. That MAYBE what we were taught growing up is not the way of things, in reality. If we don’t understand something we will have the drive to pick up, and read, a book or, two. And that we have the strength to let harsh words ‘slide’. Blessed be! Hail! Amen! Drink Up!
)o( Blessed Be!
Here’s a toast to all who can agree that we can stay firm to our own beliefs but walk in compassion to one another.
And to Lady Morgana and all other Mothers, a salute to those days when it’s wonderful to be a mom and to those days when you realize that being a mom is a real job!!
A toast to understanding!
