Pachacuti also refers to the great Inca chief who lived at the end of XIV Century. It is a presumption that he constructed Machu Picchu, and he was also the architect of a great empire, as big as United States. To the Incas, Pachacuti was the spiritual prototype – a Master, a luminous being out of time. He was the Messiah, but not as the Christian significant. He was considered like a symbol and a promise of the future of the human being. Pachacuti personify the prophecies essence, because Pacha means “earth” or “time” and “cuti” means “put the things in order”. His name also means “earth transformen”.
The Andean shamans do not have a Buda or a Christ to follow. Their ancestral believes says: “Follow your own footsteps. Learn of the river, trees and rocks. Reverence the Christ, the Buda and your brothers and sisters. Reverence the Mother Earth and the Great Spirit. Reverence yourselves and all the creation”.“Look with the eyes of your soul and gathered with the essential”, these are the teachings of Q´eros.
