Interesting, but he makes a lot of logic jumps without explaining the connection between historical events and regional philosophies. I’m no lover of Roman Catholicism, but his inferences are massive with only threads of logical relation. It sounds more like he simply wanted an end to the story and made up a history to fit it piecing together unrelated material to reach that end.
