My family tree has been traced back to the early Kings of England from the 7th Century AD. I am also a direct descendent of Sir Christopher Wren which has given me an interest in English History which is great fun to research. My articles are all about my interests in English History that the world will be amazed at. For example: The first manned flight was in England in 1849 and the first passenger vehicle was invented in England in 1801.

www.sibeliusmusic.com When I was doing some Nocturnal gardening at the time of Mabon, I went down the Hawthorn corridor where The Green Man statue stands on his stone alter and the sight of The Green Man in the moonlight struck me, as did the thousands and thousands of years of cultural history. Here was a god from the beginning of time which pervades all cultures from Africa to Asia to Europe. He is The Green Man, The Great Horned god, Cernunnos, Herne, Pan, Janus, Tammuz, Damuzi, Osiris, Dionysus. He is The Celtic God of fertility, animals and the underworld. The Hunter, Egyptian Lord of the underworld, Greek god of vegetation and vine and the woodlands. The Green Man symbolises the cycle of life, death and re-birth. The symbol of Godhood within the male and its relationship with the transcendent Goddess. As the Green Man he represents fertility and as the Horned god he represents the hunter, feeding his tribe and earning the right to copulate with the Priestess in the human realm and with The Goddess in the world beyond Mankind. – As I looked at the statue of The Green Man, a tune sprang into my head and I saw the world of prehistoric man, the eerie playing of their bone flutes, wooden logs and animal skin drums, wild dancing and celebration. I wrote it all down, then carried the story through time right up to today’s world. Hence the final Tableaux being New Age Rock.
