Saith Nanak: The charity of God’s grace is an exhaustible store.” o ADI GRANTH –”Says Nanak, The Master is a tree of contentment and forbearance;/ Righteousness its flower, enlightenment the fruit. This tree by joy in God keeps ever fresh and green;/ By practice of meditation is it ripened. With joy in the Lord is it dispense the spreme charity of selfless action.”
o ADI GRANTH –”Should anyone be victim of great anxiety, his body racked with maladies, Beset with problems of home and family, With pleasure and pain alternating. Wandering in all four directions without peace or rest — He should then contemplate the Supreme Being, Peaceful shall his mind and b’ody become.”
o ADI GRANTH –”The restless mind is not fixed at one spot; Like a deer it nibbles at tender shoots. Should man lodge in mind the divine lotus feet, his life span is lengthened, his mind awakened, immortal he becomes. All beings are in the grip of anxiety; But by contemplation of God comes joy.”
o ADI GRANTH –”Those who see Truth and speak Truth, Their bodies and minds become truthful. Truth is their evidence, Truth is their instruction, True is the praise of the truthful. Those who have forgotten Truth cry in agony and weep while departing.”
o ADI GRANTH –”Where there is forgiveness, there is God Himself.”
o ADI GRANTH –”Whoever quenches the fire of desire through the holy Word, spontaneously is his illusion of duality banished. Such is he in whose heart the Name dwells, by the Master’s guidance.”
