Question by josephine: Has anyone noticed a strange feeling that something very bad is going to happen pretty soon?
Lately, it just seems inescapable, like the air is thick with a gathering storm. The feeling is so intense that it hurts physically. I drive down the street and see in my mind’s eye a landscape I don’t recognize, everything abandoned, run down houses, nothing growing, and there is a sense of fear, and grief. That’s just when I’m awake, the dreams I’ve been having are so weird I don’t even want to attempt to explain them here. I just want to know if anyone else is experiencing this kind of thing. Could it be from the Earth changes, or something more metaphysical in nature?

Sort of like Texas weather…just wait…it will change…
I often feel this way,,
I believe it is a natural human reaction to stress,, keeps us on alert, and is likely the basis for human myths such as the Apocalypse. Or the second coming.
there is always something bad about to happen, you just cant live like it will
Some wise person once said, “It is darkest before the dawn!”
Yes, I have experienced this also. Some say its intuition, others say you might be a psychic or clairvoyant. Someone who can feel or see the future. I have read and watched movies on these things to get some sort of common explanation. But each experience is unique to that particular person. So I guess when we experience these things, these may be warnings that might happen to us or to people close to us. The human aura has never been studied in a more scientific way, so I suspect that it has something to do with that or more.
i get it all the time, it is belived to be linked to “a sixth(or 7th) sense” that some people claim to have (prophits oricals etc)
a similar dream too … i am watching a city from a distance, a small trail (from a rocket i think) descends from the sky, then i see a blinding flash of light (like that of an A-bomb blast), and the city is gone … no blast-wave, no noise, no mushroom cloud… it is un nerving and confusing, all that remains is a neatly carved crater… nothing else
wierd or wat
When we are children, everything in the world appears bright, big, and new. We are shielded from most of the world. Due to our size, everything seemed so much bigger…trees, cars, houses, schools. Due to our lack of understanding, everything just seemed to work right. Magical things happen; like when you put your tooth under your pillow at night, there will be money there in its place the next morning.
As we grow into adults, we understand how things do (and don’t) work. Things become smaller. We start to notice the cracks, imperfections, and the effects of age. Houses that were new when we were children have aged naturally; to children who remember the houses as being new, it appears as though they’re now falling apart.
What is happening is your own perceptions are changing, as you grow from one phase in your life to another. Over the next few years, you will come to see that, over time, houses will get run down. There is always an element of fear and grief. However, you will eventually see that, even in places where you thought nothing would grow, there are little “Weeds” fighting to survive in the cracks. Life will go on, even after we’re gone.
The way our democratic nation is being underminded by the theocratic Republicans trying to make our Laws match those of the Bible, thus denying others the freedom of Religion in deciding which laws to follow (for example, gay rights. Gays are humans too and deserve equal rights!), and with the Muslims seeing us as a Christian nation because of those theocrats and wanting to wage war on us for it, something is bound to happen.
Maybe if we were to rid our government of these theocrats, the Muslims may realize this nation never was a Chritian nation. To prove my point, there was a Treaty with Tripoli at the begining of our nation (1791) which stated: “The government of the United States is not in any sense founded on the Christian Religion.”
This treaty was “was sent to the floor of the Senate, June 7, 1797, where it was read aloud in its entirety and UNANIMOUSLY approved. John Adams, having seen the treaty, signed it and PROUDLY PROCLAIMED IT TO THE NATION.” What further proof do we need?
