i want to cast earthbind totem but it tells me i need to first have an earth totem

Well depending on what race you are you need to go to the FIRST shaman trainer you ever meet in the noobie zone, he will have a quest for you to collect some things then he will send you to meet some rock elementals and you will be sent back to the quest giver and WAHLAH
