It is one of the most ancient. Many variations of what most people like to call Shamanism exist in many cultures. In Mongolia, some Shamanic practices are mixed with Buddhism and the reverse is also true.

I will leave the below explanation on this video for a limited time. Ordinarily, any detailed info is given in my lectures and presentations.

@loveableforeva A spirit…watch for the whirling movement to even out. and become smoother..then look for the trembling. He is possessed by the spirit of an old man named Dalai, which those who speak Mongolian (this dialect from Khorchin) might know. Then the seated shaman/participant to begins the call and answer. The spirit, at that point having possessed him while he whirls, is given and libation as he answers the leader’s questions…its done in rhyme.

  • loveableforeva says:

    i dont get it…. ?
    what was he possessed by?

  • sarge6925 says:

    Amazing!

  • gypsymagicdancer says:

Some similarities to Voudoun…ridden by the spirits…

  • deb01852 says:

wow. In the moments of his possession he tries to escape through the door and is held back. very interesting. the costumes are amazing, and the beat hypnotic.
