You and Gil Scott Heron and Taj Mahal or my mentors in the BLUES…. I serious believe your are keeping the Blues real where others will not speak truth to power. Which means what you do do not get played on current radio..
It’s funny to see how this thing is all about music but the interviewer seems uncomfortable with feeling the music… she wants to talk about it, but she doesn’t let it in.. Her identification with the music seems to be only academic…. great interview though.
Mighty Mo Rogers has created a unique synthesis of African American musical heritage and it’s global impact on world culture as filtered through the unique prism of Africans in the Americas and beyond.
