Music by Marc Andre “Supposed to Be” Valentine’s Day The Romans celebrated a holiday on February 14th to honor Juno Fructifier, Queen of the Roman gods and goddesses as well as goddess of marriage. In one ritual, women would submit their names to a common box and men would each draw one out. These two would be a couple for the duration of the festival (and at times for the entire following year). Both rituals were designed to promote not only fertility, but also life generally. www.biblestudy.org/…/what-is-true-origin-of-valentines-day.html Eggs and rabbit) Easter’s pagan roots www.logon.org www.goodnewsaboutgod.com

St. Patrick!…huh?? he has nothing to do with paganism, actually he was a christian missionary. he “brought” Christianity to Ireland…so why not celebrate his day? if you are christian, it makes sense, and more if you are irish, but well i dont think it s your case…anyway the st. patrick’s day is the same as Potuguese celebrate the 13th june St. Anthony of Padua….so =) still be something relationated with christianity…
Good vid! Praise Jahuveh! I don’t celebrate these man made holidays anymore, I don’t miss them now that Jahuveh has helped me to die to self in these matters.
Besides WWJD?… Would He celebrate halloween? Would He glorify santa? or st. patrick? or cupid? or how about a bunny rabbit? I think not!
How about that second commandment?
@TheValknut, the topic of religions is like a never ending learning experience. But it definitely helps to learn from someone who knows what they’re talking about..
So many thanks for your time and efforts to rspond.
@jcz777 great, cause i do agree when you wrote “(…)man created to devide us and turn man against man when none are any better than the other”… and i never said that other religions disrespects nature, only saying that paganism gives another value to nature than Abrahamic religions! 😉 and good you ask questions, ’cause it proves you are curious, and curiosity is kinda of the base of “non-ignorance” =)
Valknut, just because 1 religion express more respect for nature than another, that doesnt mean the other disrespects nature either. I claim no religions since none were creations of the true creator and why I will not worship a way of life or trust any bible created or translated by man. I now see religions as I see racism for they are just more reasons man created to devide us and turn man against man when none are any better than the other. I dont point, I dont judge, I only ask questions.
@mcap52 yep but christians invaded pagans … :/ the Christians made more wars because of the existence of paganism including in their own religion … take the example of Jeanne d’Arc … and then when they did everything to convert the Jews to be new Christians?! look Two centuries ago, christians forced part of my family to convert into christianity, since they were jews… it was the same as saying “christian or die/hell ” so … =)
or not, but it is sure that paganism teachs to value nature, more than christianity, and i think we all know that the nature is the most important thing we have on earth!
i dont blame you ;), but why dont people make research about paganism to know what it truly is, before pointing? if i come up with those things, it s because i grew up as a christian, and i know what it is!i am surronded by christians everyday (LOL) but one thing is true “… ethier way all religions were created by man…”. i won’t comment about being christianity a better religion than paganism.
nop, it doesn’t make me wiccan! paganism are all religion that are non Abrahamic religious tradition. So it is reffered as polytheistism and Nature-based.For example the ancient egyptian religion, ancient greek religion, ancient roman religion, finnish paganism, Asatru and blabla. and of course you have wicca, and druidism and others… anyway there is a lot of people thinking like you, and this is the wrong idea i talked about, a few days ago…
The more you study gods true words and orig scripture the more truth you will find. Christianity already celebrates holidays on pagan holidays dont they? The bible, esp the new test does not give us accurate dates of the birth of jesus & other holidays because they went by a diff calander and since man created the new translations of the bible, it was man who chose to translate things backwards. The reason why scripture warns us not to follow “future” FALSE doctrines. Good observation endtimes
@TheValknut If your pagan doesnt that make you wiccan? And all wiccans are practitioners of the craft right? Another words witchcraft. Those who practice the craft are witches who use spells that require practitioners to occasionally worship or envoke powers from deitys other than god which is why GOD said it is evil. Not Christians. But ethier way all religions were created by man, not god so christianity is no better than paganism. Its just another reason we created to be predjudice.
Didn’t alot of this come from the Roman Catholic church?I know they get alot of credit for these things.
Maybe we feel the way we do because, just like Christians in the past there are some people who take paganism to the extremes. And also,Christians will never accept anything that is not approved by God.Plain and simple.God bless
LOL
By the way aren’t you all very happy having those holidays?even though they are pagan? ’cause you can spend those days with your families, or doing other stuffs, as resting after have spent a lot of weeks working… even if you dont want to celebrate it, just dont make it look like if it was something awful, cause it isn’t! and again Paganism is NOT EVIL at all! this is a wrong idea supported by christans…
yeah sure, soon we are only going to have christian holidays in every calendar!LOL i hope not! isn t that Selfish? i mean what make christians so superior? is it that bad to remember paganism? Remember that in a huge country as USA you do not only have christians…and people with other religions are following the Gregorian Calendar, since following another wouldn’t make sense! i think it is quite simple to understand!
@zmelli you are right dude!
The date for Easter is calculated my the full moon cycle all based on pagan holidays. The date fro Christmas was picked to coincide with an ancient Pagan Holiday. Decorating trees dates back to ancient pagan holidays.
@Jesterthemisfit I just discovered recently that Jesus was not born on December 25, but actually September 11th. Do a google search, and your will see the history behind this. I was shocked to say the least. An the way we celebrate Christmas with the tree and all are actually pagan rituals. Well I don’t know if I will be decorating from now on because I’m Christian not Pagan.
do a bible search on the traditions of man making void the Word of God
no these are not harmless celebrations that have been transformed into Christian Holy days
I agree! For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear! The WORD that is etched on our hearts by the ONE true God is awakenning some people finally! Including me!
Amen sister, Great vid! This one needs to be spread around because soooooo many people just don’t know. If christmas is a celebration of the birth of our Savior, then why don’t presents say From JESUS? Yeshua gave/gives and loved/loves every day not just one day a year. A lot of us have bought the lies hook, line and sinker. Wake up and rebuke the perversion of our sacred church by paganism and corporate greed. May GOD bless and keep you all. Amen!
good vid..speak the truth.
The word Easter is just the English version of the name of the pagan goddess “Astarte” “Ashtoreth” “Ishtar” or “Eoster”…..all names referring to the goddess of sex, love and fertility.
Judges 2:13 “Yeah, they forsook YHWH and served Ba’al and the Ashtoreths” (Ashtoreth was the sister of Ba’al
ALSO Exodus 23:13 “And be watchful of all I have said to you. And you shall not mention another god by name:it shall not be heard from your mouth.”
There is nothing to honor our Savior in “easter”!!
Every holiday was a pagan holiday until it was changed by the Christians!
The people who became Christians were the very people who celebrated the pagan holidays. We all know that Halloween is still a pagan holiday but the rest were changed to celebrate Christ. The traditions of the people carried on in their new found God,The One and only God, and their celebrations became in honor of Him. No longer are Christmas and Easter a pagan holiday but a day we remember the birth and death of Jesus.
