Population Control and the Demise of Man

The dwindling population of Europe is probably the result of an efficiently-effective and self imposed birth control programs. Today, in almost all of the grand European states like Germany, Spain, and the other Scandinavian countries, the population growth is almost 0 , with others even having negative register. And this trend in Europe is slowly being introduced, integrated, and reinforced in many other countries in the world by the United Nations.
But what seems to be striking is that , with the dismal drop in people comes the eerie surge in paganism. A phenomenon which even then PM Margaret Thatcher of England keenly observed.
And so we ask: What has become of Europe?
For centuries on end, Europe was a bastion of Christianity and much of its cultural identity, starting from its literature and arts, music and paintings, is the history of Christendom itself. What could have suddenly turned the tide. How and when did it all start?
The French Mathematician Rene Descartes, famous for his philosophical and mathematical acumen, actually started a mode of thinking which elevated human thought over and above anything else. Whereas before him, it was accepted as a given that people were a part of the greater scheme of things, Descartes’ Latin dictum ” Cogito ergo sum” or “I think therefore I am”, revolutionized the premise that the greater scheme of things is just part of ones thinking.
And what a difference it has made. The thinking was so influential that it started the modern age. Modern age did not start with modern technology. It started with the likes of Descartes, who thought of things too big for his own good. Things like, God is nothing, at most an
