Question by .: Should we have a religious or spiritual ceremony for our second wedding?
My husband is a Christian, and does not attend church, but once a year when we go to his hometown. I regularly attend the Unity church where we currently live. We are planning our second wedding for sometime in 2011. We’ve been trying to figure out if we want more a religious ceremony or a spiritual one. Our first wedding was definitely more spiritual, but we both are strong believers in God.
So: Should we have a religious or spiritual ceremony for our second wedding? Please no rude answers, thank you.

I’m not sure I understand your question. First of all, are you divorced from each other right now or are you renewing your vows? Second of all, what do you mean by a “spiritual” wedding as apposed to a “religious” wedding? I take it your first wedding was without a clergy member officiating?
Regardless, it’s your wedding. You can do whatever you want. If you are both in a different place in your life now as apposed to when you were first married then go with that.
If you are renewing you vows thou, write on the invitations for your guests not to bring gifts. Especially if they already attended your first wedding.
Have a wedding that reflects your religious or spiritual beliefs.
