i would normally jump to the conclusion that all of this is horse shit, just like christianity, judaism, islam, and every other form of religious control. in the case of witchcraft, however, one has the opportunity to test its claims. they have a spell. i can cast it. if it doesn’t work and i know i did it properly, i know it’s horse shit. can’t really do that without dying in the other religions.
