Question by heychick444: Tarot cards, and true believers?
My mom has a history since she was small to read tarot cards, since she’s advanced she can actually see more stuff on the card that i cannot! Since i’m beginning i guess i have to know what each card means, but it doesn’t show specifics. when my mom reads them she knows exactly where, and names of places or streets, or persons. why is that? does that have to do with her years of experience??? oh and i don’t care if you don’t believe in them so don’t even try to “change” my point of view.

She is using the cards to be intuitive. She takes what is on the cards and applies that to what she knows or can imagine about the situation giving a reading. She also used the clues the person she is giving the reading to guide her, body language, facial expression and such.
She probably doesn’t even realize that she is using techniques used in cold reading.

The only problem with reading tarot cards. Is people start to beleive in them. And depend on them to get them thru life. because, they are afraid, to face life alone.
So they turn to the cards. to help them. because, they can’t think for themselves. Because they are afraid to make mistakes, and the hurt and pain, that goes with it.
So they hide behind the cards. As you yourself are starting to do. those cards aren’t going to make you life any easier., or stop you from making the wrong choices.
And they may end up being the death of you.
Because, if someone, comes to you. And beleives what you tell them , the cards say. or that.
And their life doesn’t turn out right.
They are going to ask you why. since it was you ,who told them, the cards said this or that.
And your the reason, their life went wrong. They may just end up taking yours instead. think about it. You are getting into the unknown. Even the devil himself knows you about your family, from the time they came into existance. In other words.
Since man was created. they know everyone who is related to you, past and present. Just as God does.
