solution. Now is to lay the path, tomorrow the journey, and the future is the destination of the dream of a one stop shop for Africa.
African`s needs a new generation of thinking to propel its vision for a better Africa. You cannot teach old dogs new tricks…It is too late for the old generation and present leaderships to save or remove the shackles they themselves inherited and have only made worst and uncontrollable which is the appetite for corruption. It has become too sophisticated and complexed directing the better part of today`s activities in virtually all spheres. Time is not the best allied…The people must sincerely determine what direction or path they want to take by investing in a more transparent agenda bringing on-board new mindsets with the radicalism and dynamism to withstand the shocks of evolution in our modern TIMES.
There was serious problem at the AU summit recently in one of the topical issue dealing with the APRM which determines the quality of African leadership. Many members expressed its dissatisfaction with the dictatorial leadership of Professor Adebayo Adedeji, Chairperson of the body. They cited the cancellation of discussions on the re-constitution of the APRM Panel; restructuring of the APRM Secretariat and status of country financial contributions as some of the issues, which created dissatisfaction among members at the summit. Africa`s integrity is always up for questioning in many topical issues. Individuals entrusted with directing its affairs are the first to break the rules of engagements, putting their personal survival against the greater dividend stubbornly and deliberately compromising efforts.
The continent needs vibrant leaders, achievers leading by shinning examples
